TankersTrackers.com reports that Iran has exported a cumulative 40 million barrels of crude oil since June 15, 2026. The surge began when Iranian National Tanker Company vessels DIONA and HERO2 passed through the U.S. naval blockade, delivering an initial 3.8 million barrels. Over the next five days cumulative shipments rose to 17.5 million barrels, with the largest single‑day increase on June 19, coinciding with a U.S.–Iran peace summit in Bürgenstock, Switzerland. The lifting of the blockade triggered a mass departure of previously detained tankers, adding roughly 20 million barrels to the market in 24 hours, valued at about $3.2 billion. Additional volumes are reported to be floating in Iranian waters or awaiting transit.
