Iran’s Foreign Ministry reiterated that the Islamic Republic holds the United States directly responsible for crimes committed by the Zionist regime and its repeated violations of cease‑fire agreements with Lebanon and Iran. Tehran said it is prepared to take all necessary measures to exercise its legitimate right of self‑defence.
The ministry added that the serious repercussions of the Zionist regime’s war‑provoking policies on regional peace and security fall squarely on the United States.
