Taiwan has started flight tests of the MQ‑9B SkyGuardian unmanned aircraft, following the delivery of the first unit ordered from the United States. The Taiwanese military and the manufacturers are working on assembly, with the next phase being flight trials. Taiwan placed an order for four MQ‑9B drones in 2020, which the U.S. plans to deliver in two batches during 2026 and 2027.
