Israeli 551st Brigade troops, part of the 91st Division, reported discovering a extensive underground tunnel in the Majdal Zoon area of southern Lebanon. The tunnel, over 200 metres long and more than 25 metres deep, housed hundreds of weapons, four launch pads aimed at Israel, and twelve rooms used for personnel, explosives, anti‑tank missiles and drones.
The operation, conducted about 10 kilometres inside Lebanese territory, also resulted in the death of more than 20 Hezbollah fighters, including over ten members of the Razvan unit. Israeli forces said they destroyed more than 50 Hezbollah positions and infrastructure, such as observation posts and weapons depots.
