Israel's Defense Forces and Shin Bet security service have disclosed claims that Turkey is providing financing, equipment, intelligence assistance and direction to Hamas operatives in the West Bank. While dozens of related operations were reportedly neutralised last year, the agencies identified several individuals involved in recruitment, weapons transfer and other roles. Shin Bet also named additional agents believed to be residing in Turkey and operating under Hamas's West Bank command structure, warning that increased activity from the country could lead to more actions against Israel in the future.
