Iran’s foreign minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, met with Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis in Basel, Switzerland, concluding a 45‑minute discussion. The parties said a four‑way dialogue involving Iran, the United States, Pakistan and Qatar will begin at the same venue in the coming hours to advance talks on a U.S.–Iran memorandum of understanding. Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, is also in Switzerland and is expected to attend the sessions.
