Spanish company ARMMO Defense Technologies showcased its new unmanned combat surface vessel, the ARW39CAT‑A, at the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition. The autonomous catamaran is designed for reconnaissance, electronic warfare, anti‑drone operations and maritime attacks. A note clarified that during internet outages the term "Shahpad" (remote‑controlled surface vehicle) was mistakenly used as "Shampad" (remotely managed surface vehicle).
