The United States Air Force has entered a new phase of acquiring the combat UAVs FQ‑42 and FQ‑44. These drones are being developed to penetrate Chinese and Russian air‑defence systems, operate alongside fifth‑generation fighter aircraft, and conduct independent missions. The program’s budget is reported to be about $9.5 billion.
