Israel says its troops are now active inside the “Imad 4” installation – a massive, fortified underground base dug beneath the Al‑Tahir ridge in the Al‑Nabtiyah area. The complex includes kilometres of tunnels wide enough for motorcycles and launch‑vehicle trucks, equipped with independent logistics such as power, storage, dormitories, a hospital, and ventilation, all built with over a dozen years of Iranian investment and design.

Although repeated bombings have limited its functionality, Israel argues that completely destroying the site would require ground forces operating in the area.
