The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that it is no longer bound by any commitments or agreements related to opening maritime passages or other understandings that were conditioned on a halt to aggression. It cited what it called deliberate Israeli aggression against Lebanon. The Guard also declared that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed to navigation linked to Israel and its supporters until further notice.
