Russian troops employed the Yulka portable tracking drone to intercept and destroy a Ukrainian attack UAV that was heading toward Donetsk. The system is designed to locate and neutralize enemy drones in flight, and it has recently been mass‑produced for Russian use, proving especially effective against suicide drones. Operated by a single person, the device uses an AI‑linked camera to identify and engage targets automatically. With an operational range of about 2,000 metres, it can engage low‑speed aerial threats such as helicopters.
