The Israeli Defense Forces announced that after last night’s and this morning’s air attacks on Hezbollah positions, it has stopped firing across Lebanon, though operations continue within its own security zone in southern Lebanon. The army said dozens of Hezbollah fighters are stationed in an underground complex near the Ali al‑Taher heights close to Nabatieh, identified as the main command centre of the Badr unit. Israeli forces claim fighting is ongoing both above ground and underground, and that the security zone was expanded on Thursday to include the Ali al‑Taher heights and the Majdal zone. The army added that it will keep targeting Hezbollah infrastructure and any "immediate threats" it identifies.
