In the past 24 hours, nearly 20 ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz. Five of them used the safe corridor established by the United States, which runs through Omani waters, while the remaining vessels followed Iran's traffic separation scheme. Currently, two main routes are used for navigation: Iran's standard traffic scheme close to its coast and islands, and a temporary U.S.-created corridor in Omani waters that was set up during the war and remains in place.
