A Chinese FN-16 man‑portable air‑defence system has been observed in the hands of Ukrainian anti‑aircraft units of the 160th Mechanized Brigade. The weapons may have originated from U.S. arms shipments seized en route to the Houthis and later diverted to Ukraine, or they could have come from the Sudan conflict, where Chinese arms are widely used and frequently change hands among combatants.
