Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will not tolerate attacks on its soldiers or its soil and will impose a heavy price on Hezbollah for any such actions. He added that the Israeli army will act to neutralize any threat against its forces and territory. Netanyahu also stated that Israel will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon for as long as necessary to protect cities and settlements in northern Israel.
