Iran's Supreme National Security Council said the Islamic Republic has concluded a memorandum of understanding to end the war with the United States after months of intensive negotiations. The agreement calls for an immediate and permanent cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon, and the lifting of the maritime blockade on Iran.
The formal signing is scheduled for Friday, June 19, and final settlement talks will continue after each side fulfills its obligations under the memorandum. Iran expressed gratitude to Pakistan and Qatar for their roles in the negotiations.
