The area of Ali al‑Taher, near Kafr Tabnit, has seen the fiercest fighting since the war began. Enemy forces are attempting to seize the high ground at Ali al‑Taher using ground assaults, air strikes, artillery and phosphorus bombardments. Elite units are now encircled by a number of armored vehicles.
