Israeli officials said they are concerned that the public split between former President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could move beyond verbal disputes to concrete actions, such as delaying weapons deliveries, limiting military aid and even imposing de‑facto arms sanctions. The officials added that Israel expects increased U.S. pressure for a pull‑back from southern Lebanon and the Jabal al‑Shaykh area in Syria.
