Deputy President JD Wens stated that Oman, Iran and the Gulf coastal states coalition will determine the future security framework for the straits. He emphasized that the United States does not want a repeat of past incidents and aims to ensure the straits never become a choke point for the global economy. He added that such a scenario is not desired by Iran, Oman or the Gulf coalition.
