Belgian Defence Minister Theo Francken told NATO defence ministers that Belgium will hand over seven additional F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine this year. Three of the aircraft will be combat‑ready, while the remaining four will serve as spare parts. Francken added that Belgium could eventually transfer its entire F-16 fleet once the replacement F-35 program is fully operational.
