Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, said that transferring enriched nuclear material abroad is unacceptable for Iran. He added that diluting enriched material is not a new option, but is now being considered among other possibilities to keep alternatives open.
The memorandum of understanding has been signed in both Persian and English. If only the English text were available, translation differences could lead to disputes, but both parties have now signed the Persian version as well.
Within the agreed 60‑day period, the counterpart must not take any steps to strengthen its military presence in the region or impose new sanctions, as such actions would be deemed a violation of the agreement.
