Iran's official news agency published the draft of a memorandum of understanding between Tehran and Washington. The MOU states that both sides will refrain from interfering in each other's internal affairs and aim to reach a final agreement within 60 days, with the possibility of extension. The deal includes a mechanism for resolving the status of stored enriched nuclear material under joint IAEA supervision, and commits to the removal of enriched material. Additionally, Iran will cooperate with Oman on future administration and maritime services in the Strait of Hormuz, while the United States will lift the naval blockade on Iran immediately after signing, fully ending it within 30 days and restoring pre‑war shipping traffic. Iran pledged to take all necessary steps to ensure safe passage of commercial vessels through the Gulf and the Arabian Sea.
