The vessel, estimated to be about 136 metres long, matches the specifications of the Oliver Hazard Perry‑class frigates. Bahrain’s Royal Navy operates two such ships, the RBNS Sabha (90) and RBNS Khalid bin Ali (91). Mina Salman’s dock has seen little activity since recent regional tensions escalated, so the arrival of this warship could signal a notable shift—either a short‑term operational maneuver or a sign of growing confidence to resume normal traffic through the port.
