According to Bloomberg, Iran continued to operate the same Boeing 747 aircraft owned by Qeshm Fars Air (registration EP‑FAB) after the story broke, carrying out at least seven confirmed missions to transport weapons to a port in Sudan. Bloomberg reports that Sudan’s army, which has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and the IRGC, now claims it is reducing arms purchases from Iran to improve relations with the Trump administration. The report adds that Iranian drones have assisted Sudanese forces in recapturing parts of the country’s territory, but the Khartoum government now views its ties to Tehran and Iran‑aligned Islamist groups as costly and problematic.
